The "Gemma" lampshade embodies the best of two worlds: the dramatic, olive-tree-like grain of olive ash – also known as heartwood ash – meets delicate craftsmanship from Cologne. Each shade is unique, as the natural wood grain varies irreproducibly. When you switch it on, its special potential unfolds: the light gently shines through the individual wooden slats, creating an atmospheric play of shadows on walls and ceilings.
Material & Craftsmanship
The "Gemma" is made from fine, yet extremely stable, real wood slats from genuine olive ash veneer. The manual work is elaborate, the shape reminiscent of a natural bud just before blossoming. With a diameter of 20 cm and a height of 22 cm, it is delicate and understated. The universal E27 screw thread makes it versatile: combine it with a suitable socket as a table lamp, ceiling lamp, floor lamp, standard lamp, or pendant lamp – or use any standard E27 socket with a screw thread. All steps are carried out with elaborate manual work in Cologne.
