The "Gemma" is a modular wooden lamp made from sweetgum, an absolute exceptional wood among connoisseurs. With its characteristic silky sheen and spectacular color variety – creamy yellow, warm orange, deep red, and delicate purple tones in one piece – each Gemma becomes a true work of art. The light shines gently through the delicate wooden slats, casting an atmospheric play of shadows that continuously brings out the natural colors of the sweetgum.
Material & Craftsmanship
The Gemma is meticulously handcrafted from delicate yet extremely stable real wood slats made of genuine sweetgum veneer (satinwood). The intense coloring is completely natural – without any stain or treatment. With its universal E27 screw thread, the Gemma is versatile: combine it with a socket of your choice as a table lamp, ceiling lamp, floor lamp, standard lamp, or pendant lamp. All lamps are elaborately handcrafted in Cologne.
Dimensions & Fit
With a diameter of 20 cm and a height of 22 cm, the Gemma is delicate and understated – perfect for the bedside table, sideboard, or dresser. We recommend a warm white (2700K) 4–7 watt LED, as this light particularly complements the extraordinary color palette of the sweetgum and invites relaxation.
