The "Ardere" is a modular lampshade made of FSC-certified olive ash, handcrafted in Cologne. With its universal E27 screw thread, it fits any standard lamp holder – whether for a floor lamp, ceiling light, or pendant lamp. The wood itself becomes a play of light: The spirally arranged veneer strips (inspired by the Fibonacci sequence) cast even, curved light, creating a warm, cozy atmosphere.
Material & Workmanship
The "Ardere" is made from FSC-certified olive ash wood – botanically known as heartwood ash. The thick veneer wood with a special fabric structure is a custom production and emphasizes its high-quality, robust impression. Each piece is unique: The wavy, intertwined fibers are reminiscent of the Mediterranean olive tree, with warm green, gold, and grey tones and dramatic color gradients. In the light, this expressive grain truly comes to life.
Dimensions & Features
The "Ardere" is available in three sizes: 50 cm, 60 cm, or 70 cm in length. The diameter is approximately 30 cm. The passive illumination creates a very natural, warm ambiance. Through the opening, the lamp casts a beautiful play of light on the ceiling, walls, or floor – depending on the chosen suspension. We recommend a warm white LED (2700K) with 7–12 watts. Socket and bulb are sold separately.
