The "Ardere" is a modular lampshade made from FSC-certified cherry wood, handcrafted in Cologne. Thanks to its universal E27 thread, you can flexibly combine it with your preferred fitting – as a floor lamp, ceiling lamp, or pendant lamp. This allows the Ardere to be effortlessly integrated into any living situation.
Material & Craftsmanship
Cherry wood is one of the warmest woods in Europe: its red-golden, velvety tones and fine grain give the Ardere an elegant vibrancy. Particularly appealing is the development of its patina – under the influence of light, the wood becomes increasingly deep brown and honey-colored over the years, gaining character. The thick veneer wood with a specially developed fabric structure is a custom-made product. The spirally arranged veneer strips, inspired by nature's Fibonacci sequence, cast curved light and create a warm, cozy atmosphere.
Dimensions & Features
The Ardere is available in three lengths: 50 cm, 60 cm, or 70 cm. The diameter is approximately 30 cm. The passive illumination provides natural, warm light – the play of light casts beautifully onto the ceiling, walls, and floor. Any standard E27 bulb fits; we recommend warm white LED bulbs with 2700K and 7–12 watts for optimal ambiance.
