The "Ardere" is a modular lampshade made from FSC-certified sweetgum wood, also known as satin walnut. Handcrafted in Cologne, this shade can be used in many ways thanks to its universal E27 thread – as a floor lamp, ceiling lamp, table lamp, or pendant lamp. You simply combine it with the socket of your choice or use any commercially available E27 screw-base socket.
Material & Workmanship
Sweetgum captivates with its spectacular natural variety of colors: creamy yellow, warm orange, deep red, and delicate purple tones can be combined in a single board – making every "Ardere" a work of art. The characteristic silky sheen of the wood shimmers in the light in a luxurious, almost ethereal way. The strong veneer wood used, with its specially developed fabric structure, is a custom-made product. The spirally arranged veneer wood strips, inspired by nature's Fibonacci sequence, cast even, curved light and create a warm, cozy atmosphere. The intense coloration is completely natural – without any stain or treatment. The passive illumination provides a very natural, warm ambiance.
Dimensions & Fit
The "Ardere" is available in three lengths: 50 cm, 60 cm, or 70 cm. The diameter is approximately 30 cm. The E27 screw thread is compatible with all commercially available E27 sockets as well as the separately available Gofurnit sockets for floor lamps, ceiling lamps, table lamps, or pendant lamps.
