Consci was founded in 2021 by Florina Thaler in Frankfurt am Main. The company designs sustainable bags and accessories with the goal of creating greater awareness and respect for our planet's resources in the fashion industry.

When designing bags, Florina focuses on a timeless style and the selection of particularly eco-friendly materials. All Consci products are vegan and designed as part of small, carefully considered collections.

Consci manufactures in the European Union to ensure high social and environmental standards. Florina designs the pieces in Frankfurt, while production takes place in a small factory in Porto, Portugal.

Florina produces her collections in small quantities to avoid overproduction. No goods are destroyed; instead, every last piece is sold.

All Cosci bags and accessories are made from vegan Desserto® cactus leather. This sustainable leather substitute material saves over 90% of water, greenhouse gases, and energy compared to animal leather. It also has numerous certifications. Consci sources the cactus leather from a production facility in Italy.

The lining is made from a satin fabric made from 100% recycled plastic, primarily from plastic bottles. The production facilities are located in Germany and the Czech Republic. The brand emblem comes from a producer in Spain.

Consci offers CO2-neutral shipping and uses plastic-free packaging for its deliveries.

In the case of returns, undamaged products are restocked. Products with defects are repaired, where possible, and then returned to sale.
