Closd is a sustainable startup from Münster, founded by siblings Christina and Sebastian. The company develops functional, minimalist mobile phone accessories made from plant-based and recycled materials. All products are manufactured in Germany with reliable partners. Closd relies on fair, transparent processes along the entire supply chain.

Closd produces exclusively in Germany – under fair conditions and with short delivery routes. This transparency and quality have been important to the young start-up since its founding in 2023.

Through close collaboration with regional partners, the entire process remains traceable, local, and efficient.

Returned cases are recycled in the company's own recycling system and processed into new products.

Closd uses materials that are adapted to each product and as sustainable as possible. The phone cases are made either from recycled material or from a bioplastic. This is petroleum-free, recyclable, and consists of 67% renewable raw materials such as cellulose.

Phone straps are made from cotton and plastic parts made from recycled material. They are fully recyclable. Universal mounts currently use synthetic materials such as polyamide, acrylic, and polyurethane, which offer high stability, in addition to the ring made from recycled plastic.

Closd ships all orders with DHL GoGreen, which is climate-neutral and takes 1–3 business days. Packaging is made entirely from recycled paper and is completely plastic-free. Returns are possible within 14 days.
