Classic Ornaments by Owen Jones

Ornamental Graphic from the Classic "Grammar of Ornament"

The "Turkish No 3" is an art print based on Owen Jones' legendary 19th-century work "The Grammar of Ornament." This iconic design book documents the ornamentation of various cultures – and the Turkish style, with its geometric patterns and intense red hues, is one of the most striking examples.

Your poster features a symmetrical, mosaic-like pattern in classic red – a piece of design history that timelessly complements both modern and classic interiors.

Material & Manufacturing

Printed in Berlin in Patroa Studio's in-house atelier. The print is made to order – each poster is unique. The material: UV-resistant Japanese archival ink on the finest art paper or, optionally, cotton canvas. The ink does not fade, and the colors remain vibrant permanently.

Shipping within the EU is in a protective cardboard tube. Frame and hanging system are not included – the poster just needs your framing.

Who is this for?

For everyone who wants design history on their wall – students, design enthusiasts, art collectors, and anyone who appreciates ornamentation and cultural patterns. The poster works equally well in living rooms, offices, studios, and galleries.

Here you get not just a print, but a classic of design theory – carefully reproduced and durably printed.
