The "Gemma" lampshade is one of those materials that doesn't need a grand entrance. Its rich, chocolate-brown walnut wood shimmers between warm cocoa and deep mahogany depending on the light – and when you switch on the lamp, the wood seems to glow from within. Each piece is unique due to its vibrant, natural grain.
Material & Craftsmanship
The Gemma is intricately handcrafted from delicate but extremely stable real wood lamellas made of FSC-certified walnut veneer. The wood casts soft shadows on walls and ceilings, creating the kind of atmosphere you'll never want to be without in the evenings. The lamp is designed as a modular system – you decide whether you want to use it as a table lamp, pendant lamp, ceiling lamp, floor lamp, or floor-standing lamp. The universal E27 screw thread is compatible with any commercially available socket; suitable sockets are available separately.
Dimensions & Specifications
Diameter 20 cm, height 22 cm – the ideal size for rooms where the light should be gentle, not dominant. We recommend a warm white LED with 2700 K and 4–7 watts – this color temperature complements the dark tones of the walnut and enhances its natural depth.
