This special accent lamp combines an original 1960s/70s Bay ceramic vase with modern, cordless LED light. The 83/20 model, designed by Bodo Mans, features characteristic studio ceramics with expressive lava glaze in black-brown and white-grey. The strong contrast between the dark base and flowing white glaze makes each piece unique.
Material & Workmanship
The ceramic vase has been converted into a lamp with care for the object – without drilling, so its original condition is fully preserved. The handmade lampshade is covered with Japanese fabric, showing stylized dogs on a dark grey background. The reduced black-and-white design harmonizes excellently with the vase and creates a calm, graphic light image when switched on. The cordless LED technology is charged via USB-C and runs for up to 12 hours per charge. The light source is dimmable, multi-color adjustable, and controllable by remote control. Also suitable for protected outdoor areas such as balconies or terraces.

Total height approx. 42 cm, vase 20 cm high and approx. 14 cm wide, lampshade 20 × 21 cm. The simple handle emphasizes the sculptural effect. Also available with a cord at the same price upon request.
