Material & Craftsmanship
The board is made of solid oak wood and is handcrafted in the Black Forest. The surface is finely sanded and treated with food-safe wood oil. This protects the wood and makes it more durable. The acid in oak wood has a natural antibacterial effect – one reason why people traditionally simply wipe their cutting board with a damp cloth and then put it away. Each board is unique: The wood grain always varies slightly and is not identical to the image.
