Crafted from Italian deadstock cool wool with fine stretch and a subtle color play in two shades of blue , the garment becomes a versatile statement that combines function and style.
Transformable design with depth
The DRESSCOAT functions as both a coat and a dress – thanks to its sophisticated cut, concealed button placket , and the ability to wear it open, belted, or loose. The subtle asymmetry becomes apparent when the piece is open. The side slit adds extra lightness, while the material ensures shape retention and comfort. The corozo buttons complement the minimalist design with a high-quality natural accent.
Material & Sustainability
The fabric is made from high-quality Italian Coolwool from deadstock stocks —that is, new fabrics created through overproduction. This ensures that the material is reused sensibly rather than wasted. The combination of 98% wool and 2% elastane ensures flexibility, shape stability, and a comfortable fit .
All production steps—from cutting and assembly to shipping—take place in the studio in Berlin-Kreuzberg . Produced on demand to conserve resources and avoid overproduction.
