The base is an original, unglazed relief vase by Bodo Mans for Bay Keramik – a Brutalist classic with delicate etched patterns and floral stars in shades of grey. Material & Craftsmanship
The vase bears the typical base mark 'Bay 62 40" and is equipped with a high-quality E27 brass socket. The cable with toggle switch is professionally installed and electrically tested – the power supply is discreetly routed through an outlet sleeve under the socket. The rolled drum shade is covered with Japanese cotton fabric, whose floral pattern is reminiscent of the Finnish Marimekko style, providing the lamp with pleasant, warm light.
