ClipHut develops modular wooden shelving systems that can be assembled without tools and are flexible and adaptable. The company is founded by Mona and Thomaz, who wanted to reimagine durable furniture with a design focus. Their system focuses on durability, reversible assembly, and a design that grows with its users. For this approach, ClipHut was honored with the Iconic Award in 2024.

ClipHut manufactures each shelf individually to order – for you, not from stock. This saves resources and makes each piece a little more personal. All shelves are manufactured in East Westphalia-Lippe, in collaboration with regional woodworking partners. Production takes place exclusively in Germany to ensure short transport routes and fair working conditions. ClipHut focuses on precision, material conservation, and the avoidance of conventional screw connections. The materials used come from certified European manufacturers who stand for high environmental and quality standards.

ClipHut uses a wood-based material made from FSC®-certified fibers in Portugal. The panels, dyed with natural pigments, are characterized by their exceptional color depth, resilience, and low-emission production. A natural oil is used for the surface treatment, which is free of VOCs and underscores the product's sustainable character. All materials are carefully selected – with an eye to origin, environmental compatibility, and durability.

Shipping is environmentally friendly and CO2-neutral with DPD. ClipHut uses plastic-free packaging and recyclable materials. Returns are carefully inspected and, where possible, returned to the product cycle. The goal is to conserve resources and ensure that functional products are not left unused.
