The "Zero Waste Ballpoint Pen" from Prototo combines minimalist design with true environmental awareness. Handcrafted in Hamburg using 3D printing, it is made from recycled PET-G – a material derived from German industrial waste such as packaging and beverage bottles. What you hold in your hand was once trash.
Material & Workmanship
The casing is made of recycled PET-G from German industrial waste, combined with an extra-wide, document-proof metal refill according to ISO 12757-2 from Germany. A high-quality piano wire spring ensures durability and stable writing. The matte, tactile surface feels robust and high-quality. The packaging itself is made from recycled paper – here, too, nothing ends up in the trash. The entire pen is 100% recyclable and was produced climate-neutral.
