This mug combines traditional pottery with nature-inspired aesthetics. Each piece is a handcrafted unique item made from high-quality black Black Forest clay – crafted according to old artisanal tradition with individual color gradients and textures that make no two mugs alike.
Material & Craftsmanship
The mug is made of Black Forest clay with a semi-transparent glaze on the inside and outside. The top surface is smooth, while the bottom is intentionally left rough – for a pleasant feel and secure stand. The artisanal firing process creates characteristic color gradients and textures, making each item unique. The glazed surface is dishwasher safe.
Dimensions & Fit
The mug holds approximately 300 ml and is about 8 cm high – proportioned for coffee, tea, or hot chocolate in everyday use. Each piece has characteristic differences in the glaze pattern and may vary slightly in color and feel.

Rustic Manufacturing wurde 2020 von Carsten Daub in Nörvenich gegründet. Er produziert in seinem eigenen Studio, um die volle Kontrolle über den Herstellungsprozess zu behalten – jedes Stück aus Ton entsteht in Handarbeit und ist durch Glasur und Form ein Unikat.
