This vase lamp combines a unique piece from the Uebelacker ceramic manufacturer with modern lighting design. The striking orange glaze and the vertical plant motif – deeply worked into the surface – make each lamp a unique item. Total height approx. 52 cm, vase alone approx. 27 cm.
Material & Workmanship
The ceramic vase dates from the 1960s/70s era and has been converted into a lamp with care taken to preserve the object. A reversible plug-in solution holds the E27 socket (black bakelite, transparent cable) in the vase without drilling. The lamp base is heavily weighted for stability. A high-quality brass cap seals the vase. The lampshade sits on a 25 cm high frame and is covered with elastic multi-color thread – red, orange and green tones echo the ceramic colors. The vertical threads create a lively play of light on the wall and surroundings.
