Three Virtues a blade

Precision without effort – the Santoku from Solingen

The Santoku knife combines Japanese cutting technique with German craftsmanship. The “three virtues blade” masters fish, meat, and vegetables with a single, elegant movement. The name is no coincidence: this versatility is the essence of this knife.

Material & Workmanship

The ground blade made of stainless 4034 steel achieves a hardness of 56–57 HRC – hard enough for lasting sharpness, pliant enough for effortless resharpening. The handle is made in our own carpentry workshop in Solingen from selected olive wood. This makes each knife unique: the natural grain varies from piece to piece. A total of 28 cm long, the knife weighs only 150 g – perfectly balanced for controlled, fatigue-free cuts.
