The "Snail" greeting card from Die Stadtgärtner combines design with sustainability: A thick cardboard plug is attached to the card, filled with seeds at the bottom. You simply detach the shape, stick it in the ground and water it – the plug slowly grows into colourful greenery instead of dissolving. The snail motif of the seed plug is also printed on the folding card, so the overall design is preserved.
Material & Processing
The folding card is 10.5 × 14.8 cm (DIN A6) and is made from 283 g/m² heavy natural kraft cardboard. The enclosed envelope is C6 size (11.4 × 16.2 cm) and fits the card perfectly. The seed plug is made of thick cardboard and generously filled with seeds – ready for planting.
