Vintage 70s Vase Lamp with True Fat Lava Character
This cordless table lamp is a true one-of-a-kind: it is crafted from an original Bay Keramik vase by Bodo Mans from the 60s/70s. The characteristic expressive fat lava look with strong orange, flowing glaze, and matte black contrast appears almost like molten lava when lit. The handmade cylindrical lampshade combines this aesthetic with graphic fabric in orange, black, and cream – a subtle homage to Op Art and 70s textile design.
Material & Workmanship
The main component is the original ceramic vase by Eduard Bay, combined with a handmade lampshade made of cotton fabric. The vase was carefully converted into a lamp – without drilling holes, so that the character of the ceramic is completely preserved. The LED light source is rechargeable, USB-C chargeable, and dimmable via remote control. You can choose between different light colors and use the lamp flexibly.

Total height: approx. 40 cm | Vase: approx. 20 cm high | Lampshade: approx. 20 × 20 cm. The compact shape makes the lamp ideal for a sideboard, shelf, bedside table – or even outdoors on a balcony or terrace.
